We are a family run business who have been operating for well over 30 years. Our physical store is known as B & J Tools owned and operated by my parents Barry and Janet. My name is Josie and I am the the next generation of B & J Tools/Budgong Tools.

With loads of knowledge handed down over the years, I have been raised selling tools and would like to think I have learnt a lot during that time .

Still I am learning something new everyday.

There are so many Tools used for so many different purposes and we do try to stock a large variety of different Tools for every trade.

I hope you enjoy browsing through our website and hopefully you will find something you would like to purchase.

My aim is to upload as many items from our physical store as possible, however if you are ever in the area do not hesitate to pop in for a visit.

For anyone wondering the reason for the name change, the physical store is currently B (Barry) & J (Janet) Tools so when coming up with a new name why not give it the name where it all started..... at least that is where I spent most of my life growing up.

Budgong is a beautiful un spoilt area so if you are ever out there leave only boot prints and my advise leave the Dogs at home these days national parks have baits everywhere.

The Echidna for me is also a symbol of Budgong and I have seen them on the regular, since Echidnas need a specific habitat to breed in keeping them in a "zoo" is not an ideal option for rehabilitation.

So I believe it is up to us to protect them along with all of our native wild life. So please if you see them leave them, stay quiet and keep your Dogs away they are so beautiful in the wild and usually will un bury if you stay still, quiet and stand a distance away.

B & J Tools

Approx 1993- Started doing Markets Nowra NSW, Huskisson NSW, Ulladulla NSW, Moruya NSW, Candelo NSW, Woden ACT and Many other Non regular locations.

Approx 1998 - Opened in 2 Shops in Shoalhaven Arcade

Approx 2010 - Expanded into a 3rd Shop in Shoalhaven Arcade

Approx 2013 - Opened a ebay Store

Budgong Tools

2021 - Opened a Budgong Tools ebay Store

2023 - Opened www.budgongtools.com.au

Future expectations:

Hopefully when B & J Tools are ready to retire Budgong Tools will be ready to take over the Physical Stores in Shoalhaven Arcade.

As you can see above we have been operating a long time, our tools and suppliers have changed over the years as well. We are sourcing better quality and unique products since the market days. But non the less that’s where it all started from early cold mornings setting up large market stores to a permanent location and now online store.
